And it begins!!
The slip pour began at 7:30 am Monday, September 17, 2018.
A slip pour is a continuous pour of concrete until the mill is complete. Our mill will be 153’ 10” tall when complete.
This pour will run 24 hrs for approximately 6 days.
There are around 50 crew members working per 12 hour shift.
It will take 1,500 yards of concrete for the pour, or around 150 trucks worth.
The mill will use around 252,000 pounds of rebar.
