GENERAL JOB STATEMENT
Feed Mill Mixer is responsible for managing the complete operation of
manufacturing feed including, but not limited to manufacture feed, inventory
management, maintenance and repairs, daily cleaning, records, receiving
ingredients, and communicating with office staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
weigh proper micro-ingredients and place in proper batch.
feed is properly mixed and labeled each batch.
scale accuracy daily.
feed GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
feed with an automated batching system.
manufacturing plan for each day.
financial records to improve costs.
records to improve efficiencies.
summary reports for management.
meetings and discussions with management and feed mill staff.
communications with the NFP Feed Department.
control, collection, and storage of feed and feed ingredients.
ground corn to be tested.

performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have the ability
to manipulate (lift, carry and/or move) light to medium weights of 10-50
pounds. Requires arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp,
and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read. The employee is
frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Position
also requires repetitive hand motion (typing/data entry) daily. This employee
must have the ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment that is often
hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
